For Valentines 2022, Mikros Animation Studios wanted to run a campaign to drive engagement with their socials (predominantly Instagram). They needed a framework they could use each year and have templates that were versatile enough to promote their various films, shows and characters.

I created the below ‘Heart Mikros’ stamp to work as a form of branding, giving the campaign it’s own visual identity, I then carried this art direction across the rest of the assets to be used as a background element and pulled it out for use on a virtual sticker.

 
 

I had the idea to use this art direction to create a virtual ‘love note’ that could be saved to a mobile device and uploaded to instagram stories, allowing each user to write their own personal message on top, tagging @MikrosAnimation and the recipient’s username.

The campaign saw a 76% uplift in clicks through to the Mikros Animation Instagram page and saw 50+ users repost the ‘love note’

 
 

M P C W H I T E P A P E R

During my time at Technicolor I had the opportunity to design a whitepaper, written on the process behind and benefits of CG characters for brands in the creative market. It was very exciting to be a part of such an in depth study in to the CG world and I had fun working with some great assets provided by the VFX artists and 3D designers.

My task was to created all the engaging content to promote the (essentially plain text study) whitepaper across all socials

In March 2021, I worked with JaQuel Knight and his team to create a social campaign for his ‘March Madness’ dance contest, a unique opportunity for dancers across the U.S to take part and compete for prizes and a chance to work with JaQuel himself.

Following a speciifc brief on colour palette and content displays, I created the below visual identity and art direction for the social posts. I also created some base animations for instagram stories and for paid social promo.

Before her rebrand and launch of her radio station, Taylah Elaine reached out needing a social promo campaign for a new event she was hosting. The brief was to create a feeling of ‘futuristic mystery’ to create hype around the first event of the series.

I created the background texture by creating a mixture of black dye and oil and adding it to water, I then photographed it in a studio environment using a light box and pulled the results in to Photoshop to touch up and apply filters.

The client was so happy with the result that I worked alongside the Photographer Bryan Aseya, to create a post-event campaign, treating images from the event with the overlays I created.
